Short-Term Opportunities

Each year, teams of volunteers travel with HCM to serve alongside our international partners. These short-term trips focus on hands-on ministry such as construction, education, children’s outreach, and community projects.
Volunteers experience firsthand what God is doing among Portuguese-speaking peoples — worshiping with local believers, encouraging national pastors, and helping strengthen the global church.

If you or your church are interested in joining a future trip, we would love to hear from you. Opportunities are typically available in West Africa and occasionally in Brazil or Asia, depending on project needs.

Long-Term Opportunities

HCM is actively seeking missionaries who feel called to long-term service among Portuguese-speaking communities — particularly in Southeast Asia. This small island nation is young and spiritually open, with a growing need for teachers, mentors, and disciple-makers.

Those serving long-term help establish churches, disciple young leaders, and support ongoing community development and Business-as-Mission (BAM) initiatives. This work requires commitment, cultural adaptability, and a heart to see lives transformed by the Gospel.
